AMD Ryzen 9 3950X Releases!
AMD Ryzen 9 3950X Released Today!
AMD has been booming in the CPU market, crushing competitors like Intel with their Ryzen lineup since 2017. Today, AMD announced their new Ryzen 9 3950X to the consumers, which was BIG. This CPU is rocking 16 DAMN CORES and 32 Threads, clocked at 4.7Ghz. AMD does have a Threadripper lineup of CPU's, which are known as HEDT CPU's, including their 2950X, 2970X and 2990WX (16,24, and 32 core cpu's respectively). The big differentiator between the new Ryzen 9 3950X and the Ryzen Threadripper 2950X is that the 3950X is actually a consumer CPU. The 3950X will run on their existing AM4 platform, which is a huge plus for buyers, especially since it's real easy to get into the AM4 platform compared to their TRX4 Platform, basically the 3950X is the replacement for the 2950X and the TRX4 platform. Okay, so the 3950X is set to be priced at $750, soon to hit shelves. If I had the money to buy the absolute beast, I wouldn't even hesistate, this has got to be AMD's best CPU yet, and hopefully more to come!
